Take your pick from over 100 sumptuous dishes ranging from appetizers, ulam-ulam & salads, soups, main courses, items from action counters and stalls and not forgetting yummy desserts.

After a long day of fasting, the perfect way to berbuka is with a refreshing glass of Watermelon with Lychee, Honey Dates Juice, Air Bandung, Sugar Cane and Air Sirap Selasih or a hot glass of Teh Tarik or Nescafe Tarik, accompanied with some dates or perhaps a slice of ‘kuih’.

Then, continue your gastronomic journey with a wide array of  traditional appetizers consisting of Rojak Buah-Buahan, Tauhu Bakar Sumbat with Thai Sauce, Gado-Gado with Peanut Sauce, Pasembur with Peanut Sauce, Kerabu Mangga Muda, Kerabu Nangka Muda, Assorted Seafood on Ice and Nasi Himpit Kuah Kacang.

Relish bowls of heartwarming and tasty soups such as Coffee House’s signature Sup Gearbox, a popular bone marrow broth laced with various local spices, Tom Yum, Fish Ball Soup with Glass Noodles and the ubiquitous yet tasty Soto Ayam. Craving for something less spicy? There are Boston Prawn Bisque, Aloe Vera with Seafood Soup, Roasted Cream of Pumpkin and Minestrone Casalinga Soup.

Next, head over to the main course section for a mélange of authentic Malay dishes such as Daging Rendang Tok, Rendang Minang, Ayam Percik, Ikan Cencaru Goreng Berlada, Udang Galah Berempah, Kacang Botol Goreng Sambal, Daging Salai Lemak Cili Padi, Paru Goreng Tempe and Gulai Daging Kawah Batang Pisang complemented by medley of ulam-ulam and served with sambal belacan, budu, cincalok and tempoyak, much like ‘berbuka puasa’ fare at home.

The extensive spread will not be complete without trying our signature dishes over at the action stalls,  such as the signature Nasi Beriyani Gam Ayam accompanied by a medley of condiments, Roasted Whole Lamb Kuzi served with Black Pepper or Mint Sauce, Laksa Johor and Nasi Ulam. Diners can also savour dishes prepared on the spot such as Grilled Assorted Fish and Stingray served with Air Asam, Beef & Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and condiments, Murtabak, Fried Kuey Teow, Chicken and Beef Shawarma as well as Grilled Otak-Otak, to name a few.

Be bowled over at the noodles station with an assortment of noodles specialties, such as Mee Rebus, Mee Kari, Laksa Kedah, Assam Laksa, Kuey Teow Sup, Laksa Lemak and more. These will be rotated on daily basis for diners’ enjoyment.

“We decided to bring back traditional favourites as most of the items above are popular fare that our guests enjoy during their berbuka puasa with us. For the specialties, I would recommend the Nasi Kandar and Nasi Beriyani Gam with all its accompanying condiments. The Lamb Kuzi is another popular must-try. Sometimes on a busy day, two whole lambs are used”, explains Chef Samsuddin Ahmad, Sunway Putra Hotel’s Executive Sous Chef when asked on the theme for this year’s Ramadhan Promotion.

“A total of seven different menus will be rotated throughout the fasting month, offering variety and to suit all palates. Of course, the emphasis will be on action stalls and Coffee House’s signature offerings. Indeed, with such a wide selection, it is no wonder that some of our regular diners drop by for berbuka puasa with either their family or friends every week”, added Chef Samsuddin.

End the meal with one of these fabulous desserts; not-to-be-missed Ice Kacang, Sago Gula Melaka, Pulut with Santan Durian, Tapai, Assorted Jellies, Cakes and Pastries, Ice Creams, Chocolate Fountain, Bread & Dates Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Tau Foo Fa, Pandan Pancakes and Aneka Kuih-Muih Melayu.
