Sedapnya Nasi Beriyani...Returns!

Nasi Beriyani, a popular rice dish and a staple of Mughlai cuisine, once again takes centre stage at Coffee House this November due to popular demand. Relish aromatic rice cooked to perfection, accompanied by an assortment of meat and seafood dishes. Highly recommended is the Ayam Goreng Berempah, where tender pieces of chicken thigh are marinade and deep-fried till crispy on the outside, yet the meat remains moist and juicy. The same method of preparation is also available for mackerel fillets. Meanwhile prawn lovers will enjoy the Gulai Udang Harimau, made using fresh tiger prawns. Other recommended dishes include the fragrant Rendang Daging and Rendang Kambing.

AN AFTERNOON REPAST

Quintessentially an English tradition, An Afternoon Repast is the perfect way to catch up with friends for a tête-à-tête or a business discussion. Refresh yourself with dainty bites of savoury sandwiches and sweets such as scones, French pastries and chocolate-dipped strawberries, complemented by a range of fine teas and coffee. Available at the Lobby Lounge from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm daily, the English Afternoon Tea is priced at RM55.00 nett per set for two persons.


MANGO CHERRY TRUFFLE

Lobby Lounge’s Cake of the Month for November 2013 is a uniquely delicious offering. A thin layer of vanilla sponge forms the base of the cake. This is then topped with a combination of white chocolate and mango mousse highlighted by fragrant mango cubes and sweet pitted cherries, sandwiched between another layer of sweet cherry sponge. The cake is then finished with a thick coating of mango glaze and topped with dark chocolate leaves.

Delicious enjoyed on its own any time of the day, the Mango Cherry Truffle is available throughout November 2013 and priced at RM9.00++ per slice or RM90.00++ per whole cake.
